Sporadic Surf Report (July - October 2K8)

Wasup E’rybody…
So, it’s been quite a while since my last “Monthly Surf Report” post (click here to check it out now, if you haven’t already). Sorry! But this past few months have been pretty hectic for me, in a variety of ways, and I haven’t put much effort into my blog or my Traffic Exchange Study as a result, which is why I changed the format and/or purpose of this post series to begin with.
I did manage to surf a couple of them, however (i.e., AutoSurfTraffic.com and WebBizInsider.com). And I still believe they are worthwhile in terms of free, targeted traffic generation; especially, if you don’t have the money to invest in advertising, but do have some time to surf the Traffic Exchanges (TE’s). Don’t get me wrong, there are many other TE’s that are just as good as these, but I simply don’t have time to surf more than two right now myself.
Speaking of time, I guess now is as good a time as any to tell you what’s been going on with me since my Monthly Surf Report (June 2K8) entry. In fact, you probably noticed that this post title has been changed to “Sporadic Surf Report (July - October 2K8)”, which coincides perfectly with my sporadic personality, as noted throughout this blog.
First, “Scrap Metal” prices took a plunge for the worse, right along with the global stock markets! As such, that gig and website have fallen down the list of priorities, although it’s still up-and-running (click here to check it out) and getting organic search engine traffic that’s converting to cash via advertising / monetization (e.g., clicks on Google AdSense ads, etc.). Not to mention that we are continuing our cheap hauling / light demo business and are using it for promoting that part. So I’m gonna leave it online for those reasons.
Second, I recently entered into a Joint Venture (JV) partnership with a cool, new friend of mine, Linda Summers, who lives just down the street from me. We have already joined a few Internet business opportunities together (more on that some other time) and have also started a couple of new websites, viz: Free People Search (this one is fully functional and ready to use; and as the name implies, it’s FREE — so check it out) and Magnetic Marketing Group (this one is currently under construction, and I’ll post a link to it when it’s ready). And since I’m the one with the most free time and online skills right now, it’s been keeping me busy getting everything set up.
Even so, I’m really excited about this JV project. Yeah, Linda is a very nice person and we get along pretty good. And although she doesn’t have much Internet or Network Marketing experience yet, she has the desire to learn, which is the most important thing (imo). Not to mention that it’s a great way to make more money online and is recommended / taught as such by all the gurus.
Well, I know this is not my best post, and I’ll make sure the next one is not as lame. But I have some other things to do. So ciao for now and have a great, blessed day!
Regards,
Michael Brock
P.S. I just heard that BlogRush is dead… Man, that sucks! Coz I didn’t even get a chance to join and submit this blog. But John Reese, the creator, has good reasons for shutting it down, which you can read about on his blog post entitled The Death Of BlogRush.
