Man, my blog is just a little over a month old and it’s already starting to take some shape.

OK, I know it may not look like much yet, but it will increase in content over time. I promise!

I also know in “Hello World” I told you that I’m sporadic and that I wouldn’t *promise* you any sort of regularly scheduled posts.

Well, sorry, but that may have been a little premature on my part…

Yeah, coz, as you can tell by this post title, I went and changed it on ya. Now I’ve gone and committed to a “monthly” report. And that surprises me.

Oh no, am I becoming a real problogger already?.. Ha ha…LOL!

Anyway, as the post title also indicates, this is the “Monthly Surf Report (April 2K8)” and is the first ever, of course.

So… Welcome to my new series where I will basically cover what’s been happening each month in my ongoing Traffic Exchange study and/or personal “surf” research project.

Here I will be sharing related points of interest, results with proof and whatever else I think is important in each month’s respective post.

Now, it hasn’t even been quite 30 days since I started the “surf” research project and “surfing” the TE’s, which was on or about 03/21/08.

But I just got the idea to start the “Monthly Surf Report” series today and wanted to follow through with the first post, while it was still fresh in my mind…

You know, so that I wouldn’t forget. Or even worse, procrastinate and talk myself out of it or something.

OK, with all that being said, let me share the important stuff for this month…

It should first be noted that I do NOT “surf” the TE’s everyday! In fact, I’m lucky if I get to “surf” 3 days a week, so I try to “surf” for several hours at a time when I do.

The good news this month is that it does work. Yep, I got 6 referrals under me in my primary business (i.e., NetAudioAds™) in less than a month. Really more like 3 weeks. So it’s about 2 referrals per week on average.

And other than my related blog post and placing a few banner ads on my Rotatrix Friends Network (a.k.a. RFN) profile, “surfing” the Traffic Exchanges is the only form of advertising that I’ve used to promote this business opportunity.

By the way, I just started using Google Analytics today and am still learning it, so I’m not exactly sure how many referrals are from the TE’s versus my blog and my RFN profile this time. But I’ll keep better track of that stuff from now on and provide more accurate results in the future.

I know these are not stellar numbers or anything even close. Especially the earnings, ha ha. But, as you can see in the screenshot, they are real! And they are current, as this screenshot was taken right before I started this post.

Plus, don’t forget that this opportunity is still in beta and they’re not playing the full number of ads on the Pay-Per-Play network yet. This is scheduled to increase soon, though.

And only 2 of my referrals have actually started getting hits / audio ads played on their websites. I anticipate my earnings will increase over time, as will theirs and everybody else who joins and gets involved before they close the referral program.

Not to mention that, in actuality, this was achieved in about 25 to 30 hours of “surfing,” over the course of about 3 weeks. And pretty much by just me alone, with no TE referrals under me, except for one I just got like 3 or 4 days ago in VitalViral (which means that he is below me in several Traffic Exchanges; e.g., potentially about 12 total plus 3 list builder sites, depending on how many he signs up for).

Well, I guess that about wraps it up for this month’s “surf” report. I know that I covered some additional information, other than about Traffic Exchanges. But it was stuff that I felt was relevant to the over all subject matter. Either way, I hope you found it helpful, or at least entertaining.
