Hey, Surfers... Want More Cool Stuff? Yeah, Then Check Out These Offers Too!

Hey Michael,
Now how the heck did I miss this post. LOL … OK I also am going to try Paydot too looks great I have to agree with you on that . Great post love all the info you give us
Terry
Hi Terry,
IDK, maybe you were clicking on the comment link in your email alerts and going straight to the “Traffic Exchanges… To Surf, Or Not To Surf…” page? It’s all good, and I’m glad you finally made your way here.
I noticed that I had gotten a referral last night, but PayDOTCom does not give ANY information about your referrals other than the quantity under you. And it was before you left your comment here. So I had no idea who it was, until now… That is, assuming that you already joined, of course. If not, then I still have no idea who it is, ha ha.
Anyway, thanks for the comment and for joining PayDOTCom with me. I hope it helps you in your monetizing efforts. Have the best, blest day!
TTYL,
Michael
Hey Terry,
I forgot to mention that I found another cool affiliate program (i.e., DealDotCom) and have installed a widget in my sidebar for them too, using a WordPress plugin. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of Kelly Stone (a.k.a. Squidoo Queen), but I subscribe to here newsletter and she wrote a post about DealDotCom over the weekend. That’s how I found out about it.
Btw, if you decide to join DealDotCom also and would like to put the widget on your WordPress blogs, then let me know and I’ll give you the link to the plugin I’m using. It’s pretty easy to use, unless you want to change the width of the widget, as that function doesn’t work for some reason. I had to hack mine to make it look the way I wanted. I can help you with that too, if needed. Just let me know, K?
Best Regards,
Michael
hmm never heard of Kelly Stone, but I am always game to try blog widgets .I do also have a wordpress blog but have not used in a few months as I could never learn how to set them up properly here. For me blogspot was much easier.
Hope you are feeling better been missing your great blog post
Terry
Hi Terry,
Sorry it took me so long to reply! And I have a good reason…
Yeah, I hurt my left shoulder and back pretty bad somehow (I really don’t know how; they just started hurting out of the blue and are both still bothering me) shortly after your last comment and have been taking some time off from the PC, so I could rest after working with my cousin, Paul, every day (i.e., 6 days a week, on average).
Btw, I don’t remember if I’ve ever told you what we do for work or not, so I’ll tell you now…
Basically, we work for ourselves recycling scrap / junk metals, which is composed of several phases: collecting various kinds of junk metal items (e.g., A/C units, all home appliances, bikes, car parts, motors, engines, whole cars, window frames, etc., etc.) from a few accounts we have and by driving around looking for it; dismantling those items, using common hand / power tools; separating the remains into the different types of metals (i.e., aluminum, brass, copper, steel, etc.); and finally selling them to a scrapyard for a profit, which can be really good sometimes and is potentially good all the time, depending on how much metal we have to recycle.
Of course, metals are not light in terms of weight, generally speaking, so there’s a lot of heavy lifting and/or repetitive movements throughout each phase of the process. And it’s just Paul and me doing all of it, so I’m pretty tired at the end of the day anyhow.
Believe it or not, my injury had absolutely nothing to do with my line of work, though. I know this for sure, coz Paul was sick with the flu for almost 2 weeks, so I wasn’t working and had not been working for more than a week when it happened and did not resume working until 3 or 4 days afterwards.
Anyway, enough of all that, except to say that I’m slowly getting better and will hopefully be back to normal in a few days…
Now, as for Kelly Stone (a.k.a. Squidoo Queen). She’s pretty cool and publishes content worth reading (imo). If you’d like to know more about her, then just let me know and I’ll give you some links to her sites that I read / follow.
And if you would like some help with your WordPress blog, I’d be happy to assist you in any way that I can. So don’t hesitate to ask, K?
Well, I’m getting tired and will probably be going to bed in a little while, so I’ll wrap this one up here.
Best Regards,
Michael
P.S. Just so you know, I plan on writing another “Surf Report” post tomorrow and have some ideas for a few new ones.
Wow sounds bad. I was wondering what had happened to you. You need to go see a Dr. about that injury.Scrapping now is actually good money I have heard. But as I can tell from your story very hard work too.
Can’t wait to read your next entry !!!
Take care of yourself
Terry
Hey Terry,
Yes, it is pretty bad (pain-wise) but is getting better daily, coz I’ve been sleeping a LOT more than normal for me and taking it as easy as possible at work. Although, this morning I woke up with a sore, stiff neck to boot, which is actually overshadowing the other pains today.
Now, as for seeing the doctor… Well, I don’t really like going to the doctor, for various reasons. And I have a very high tolerance for pain, coz it’s been an ongoing thing with me since my first motorcycle accident when I was about 14, and my pain threshold has increased over time. So I tend to let nature take its course with most things like this. I only go to the doctor when it’s absolutely necessary and/or life threatening.
And yeah, scrapping metal is a potentially high paying business, depending on the amount off junk metal one has to recycle (as mentioned above)… Speaking of, Paul just got here and I have to go now, so I’ll ttyl.
Michael
