Step 1 Accomplished: FreeBlogger Started for Free!

By Michael Brock • Mar 9th, 2008 • Category: Features, Free Blogoprise Project, General, News

Wow, Step 1 is accomplished: FreeBlogger was started for FREE!

Yep, I got the top-level domain name (i.e., freeblogger.biz) and a one year premium hosting package (i.e., 2000 MB Web space and 20 Gigs of bandwidth / data transfer on Apache servers with all the bells and whistles, including cPanel for all of my administration functions and Fantastico De Luxe autoinstaller for easy installation of commonly used software, such as WordPress) without spending any money out of my pocket. That’s so cool… Man, I love the Internet!

Now I’m well on my way to freeblogging for profit and closer to achieving part 2 of my mission: helping my readers do the same thing. Hooray, my plan is coming together!

So keep an eye out for new posts and/or “pages” that explain the steps in more detail and you can be a FreeBlogger too! In the meantime, God bless and happy blogging…

NOTE: This is just a quick update on the status of the FreeBlogger blog, the Free Blogoprise Project and my personal mission of starting / operating a popular business blog for free (i.e., with no initial cash investment). I’ll add new posts / updates for each step in the process, along with individual “pages” explaining the steps in more detail. This post may be edited or deleted, accordingly. Thanks for visiting and stay tuned for more…

TIP: To get your own free domain and hosting package from the same provider that I used, click here or on the URLSavings.com button in my sidebar under ADS & RESOURCES. Or, in the alternative, just do a search on Google for something like “free domain names”, “free Web hosting”, “free websites”, etc. and you’ll find tons of companies offering these things for free! Give it a try and you’ll definitely see what I mean…
